will the setting of lift from 5500 stay? or will the std ecu go into safe mode like the other settings the uni q can do and wat some previous unichip xrsi owners have experienced?

and so it begins... whose first?? 

If you go back to my post you will see that i stated that the device probably with some tweaking could possibly move Lift in future.......as you can see from the reply from Dastek is that they need further software to allow this.....interesting and worth following...

It would be interesting to see if the unit can move Lift and adjust VVT setting as well because this is one of the most crucial parts of moving Lift.

What is even more interesting is that if the Uni-Q is so good then how is it that with all their development ...The Uni-Q still cannot be used to chip a 20v successfully without the ECU overriding control. Just some food for thought....

Its great to see that Dastek are actually finally working on the unit to control Lift......This is gonna make things fun for the X's.

The proof is in the pudding....lets wait and see how this plays out....

Ive got my CAI, just waiting for my exhaust from viper and then it will be done, Spoke to the chappie who does the UNI Q in EL and he said he has just come back from  a course in JHB which included the VVTL feature  on the UNI Q. Im Going for a power run tomorrow, so I can see the difference once all the stuff is fitted and setup. Another week or two?

So any results?     Stupid question can i vy to jozies and get my HEX chipped and setup there? Will it operate in durbz or run like wun panzie? jus a 5 bob quezie. or can ODR or tuneserv do the lift thingie? since we have  budha tunnerz in durbz?

still waiting for my exhaust from Viper, I'll pay R400-00, thats  a tank of petrol to anyone with a runx to go to Viper so they can make my exhaust, The chappie who is going to fit my unichip says he is certain he can get lift to come in earlier, i was thinking of say 5000 rpm? I suppose i'll only find out when cabbie is on dyno to see where the best power is.
