Topic: Real cheap hp mods

Am wondering what you guys think are some good cheap mods?

Atm I have in my Silvertop...

CAI made from...
A bucket with a lid for Airbox (with cone filter inside)
Intake snorkel from PVC pipe
Pipe between AFM and plenum covered in aluminium foil like sun shade

Am going to install...
BT camshaft
Ajustable fuel regulator
Adjust timing via AFM
Retard exhaust camshaft via vernier gear
Replace intake pipe between AFM and plenum with steel pipe

What do you guys think?

the blacktop camshaft wont help you in any proper way, and its very likely you will need the blacktop VVT to go with it as well.

St & BT cams use the same VVT gearhttp://www.playtoyclub.co.za/forum/images/smiles/icon_up.gif

Rather fit bigger duration cams in one time,cause you'll most probaly gain about 2-3hp from the BT cam swap.

I didnt think they did, I was under the impression the pin offset was different. But I could be wrong.

I doubt you would get +1hp with BT cams because the only different is +0.203mm of lift on the intake + 5 degrees offset lobes and thats it.

U fit an ADJUSTABLE CAM GEAR to ur exhaust cam (20V)
This gives u the ability to adjust the cam by either turning it clockwise or anti clockwise!!
This is done for STREET/TRACK racing.
It wont give major power gains.. it merely alters the torque range ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/wink  ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/wink
