When doing Dave Repsold headwork on a 4afe/7afe from what I've read, but also when going boost.

Yeah indeed, but also if you going with some major NA mods (Like a full motor rebuild) then I would say it would have to be on the list... Oem units can handle a bit so wouldnt really worry too much about it...
