Topic: Hi from New Zealand!!

Hey guys,

I'm Scott. I live in New Zealand and own a 1993 Toyota Corolla SE Limited sedan (JDM AE100 model). I've owned it for 5-years so far and it was completely stock standard when I bought it, but over the years I've done a number of mods and have added almost every single OEM optional extra that was available from Japan back in the 90's.

I've used this website many times when doing research so it's great to finally join. Had thought of joining a long time ago but my only recently did an engine conversion from the 5A-FE to a 4A-GE 20v Blacktop, so figured I would fit in more now that I have a worthy enough engine ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/biggrin2

Anyway, here's a few quick photos of my Corolla. I'll be starting a thread shortly with all of the mods and photos so I'd love to hear what you guys think ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/cool

the interior and engine bay looks sweet, what I wouldn't give for a TRD strut brace like that!

Thanks man ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/biggrin2. When I found the TRD strut brace the paint was quite flaky on it, so I got it powder coated before installing it. Does a great job at stiffening up the front end ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/smile

Cheers man ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/cool ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/wink. Here's a link to the thread I made with all of the mods and pics: http://forum.9000rpm.co.za/viewtopic.php?id=13827

The induction is 110mm trumpets, fed by a 3" ram air tube that sits just behind the bumper. The ram air design is my only source of cool air into the engine compartment. It only works whilst accelerating, but seems to help cool things down a bit. I have a custom made bellmouth on the way for the end of the pipe so it looks better ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/smile
