Done at Ferroli

137kw on flywheel
125kw on wheels

Notes:

1. Temp 29` Air Intake at filter was at 36` timing on 25` max (No fan on side vent)
2. Normal unleaded fuel
3. Standard 50mm exhaust
4. First time to dyno, vvti needs adjustment

I'm happy so far, a blacktop with dicktator on the same dyno makes 128kw on flywheel.

Can't wait to tune with new 63 exhaust,

Im very happy with the results..... we only need to find 13 more kw's to hit our goal of 150kw and due to the fact that the car has only been tuned on the open road in a few sessions makes me confident that we can achieve that.

I think we have reached almost the max on the stock 1ZZ 50mm exhaust and it is seriously restricting the power......so game plan for now...

-Slap on the 63mm ex
-Adjust fueling on open road
-Book dyno session to fine tune power and VVTi

63mm is for sissies man - last configutaion on the 88 when it was still n/a was 63 till first box then straight after first box it was 76 with the last box also a 76 - although the 76box was an offset type.

I gained everywhere on the dyno graph from mid to redline - and that was on a 1.6 on the reef ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/cool

I will try to look for the graph - I am sure I still got it.

Mr2 might be a bit tricky because of the constraints - the tricky bit being to make it a little more quiet :lol:

I have tried so manu xhorst combo's on the 88 - 4 different branches & numerous pipe combo's - the 63/76 worked extremely well with the TNT 4:1 branch - even the xhorst place was supprised.

Sounded like a touring car around the Z

Not so stock 16V:lol:

but on my 20v I run 63 that splits into 2 57's - and the cross sectional area of 2 x 57 = 80.6mm ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/cool Oh and the rear boxes are offset orcourse - this doesnt seem to make a difference on the dyno.

Went to dyno today and got 150.4kw 192nm

My Goal was 155kw, but I need to adjust vvti to make more power low down and on top.

Power is peaking at 7600 instead of 7800, 5kw easy to be gained with tuning.

Rally runx with racetech ecu made 155kw on same dyno.

Below is graph with lift at 5300, will bring it down to 4800 on next dyno run.

Im very happy cos we can still gain quite a bit in various areas..... 150kw was always our initial goal for the car and we have reached that...

Now the new benchmark will be 160kw with some extra tuning......Lets do this!

Thats exactly what we are gonna do.......It became like that when we moved the lift point to 5300.

The car has only been road mapped for now so we'l sort out a few of the dips in the graph and smoothen out that torque curve as well.   ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/wink

Just to compare the strongest 2zz-ge on newcelica.org pushes 183.9hp 133lbs/ft thats 137.1kw 180nm on the flywheel and we got a 2zz-ge to push 150kw and 192nm on the flywheel. COME ON GUYS THATS AWESOME FOR THE X CREW and both engines have similar mods.

Maybe I'm being optimistic here, anyone got dyno graph's of their x's maybe from KSD for comparison

I think the 183.9hp should be on the wheels, I've only seen them dynoing at the wheel as that is the accepted standard in the US. 137.1kw, 180Nm on the wheels will be approximately 157kw and 206NM with a 13% drivetrain loss.

My power at KSD was 139.1kw with a 63mm exhaust, stock induction. Previously it was 134kw with decat. Stock cars dyno around 130kw on KSD dyno. See graph.

I think the kw should have been more, but it looks like the ECU intervened at 7400 causing the torque to dip, limiting power.

The dyno graph show 183.9hp on engine and 152.6 hp on wheels?

KSD Runx posted the 155kw on his own dyno with his own car and lots of tuning, keeping in mind that his exhaust is less resrictive and has a longer CAI.

I'm planning to sort out my induction for the dyno, cause it suffers from heat soak when standing for a while.

Thanks for posting the graph very interesting and I can't wait to go back to the dyno once tuning is done.
