Topic: Honda 160i SR4 CO settingsew he checked the computer box and fuse box

Howzit Guys,

I am having a problem with my Honda 160i luxline SR4 1995 model. The problem it is heavy on fuel getting 450kms on full tank. I took it to a guy to tune but he cannot find the air fuel mixture screw. he checked the computer box around the fuse box even engine bay and under seat as Vteck has it there. We had no luck. Any other way to set the fuel mixture? or is the screw located elsewhere. Please help. Thanks alot guys. ../../extensions/custom_smilies_2/img1/sad

Re: Honda 160i SR4 CO settingsew he checked the computer box and fuse box

u sure its that it's over fuelling?

I dont think it would have that screw as the air/fuel ratio is set by the computer box. you would find that screw on carb cars.

wat exhaust system does it have?
also,
- clean the air sensors. i cant emphasise enough how important those sensors are!
- drop in a bottle of injection cleaner (have at least half a tank of fuel when you do this). Also, put in the cleaner when u stopped at the garage before u fill so it mixes as the fuel fills)
- check the exhaust for leaks/collapsed boxes/if its a cheapie zorst
- do a full service on the car (take it to a mac who knows what he is doing and wont be looking for a air/fuel screw on an injected car)

Its not your top speed that counts but how quick u get to it...

Hi Thanks for the reply, I have a branch and freelow fitted by powerflow.did the service about 2 weeks back also used the injector cleaner. i did all that is needed i dont know what esle to do.

Re: Honda 160i SR4 CO settingsew he checked the computer box and fuse box

has it always been heavy?
when did u do the zorst system?

wat was it like before the zorst?

check and clean the air sensors.
There should  be a MAF sensor on the intake somewhere. See if you can get a hold of a can of "CRC MAF sensor cleaner"

also, find out what other sensors there are on the car and clean/test them.
